Description
QIAGEN TissueLyser II is a compact, high-throughput bead mill (bead-beating homogenizer) for rapid, simultaneous disruption and homogenization of biological samples. It processes human, animal, and plant tissues, as well as bacteria and yeast, by high-speed shaking of samples in sealed tubes with beads. This releases high-quality DNA, RNA (including miRNA), and proteins for downstream purification and analysis, with strong reproducibility even for tough-to-lyse materials. It serves as an efficient front-end sample preparation tool for QIAGEN automated workflows.
