Designed for lyophilizing moderate to large sample loads or numerous small container batches. With front-viewing window, interior space for a vacuum pump, and accommodation for a large tray dryer. The upright stainless steel collector coil holds 6 liters of ice before defrosting. A single 3/4 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system cools the collector to -50° C (-58F), suitable for aqueous samples.

Temperature control from -40 to +40° C. Options include a 6-port manifold, isolation valve and sample trays. A pneumatic mechanism stoppers containers under vacuum on three large adjustable processing shelves, 16.5” x 12” each. An HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system and electric heater cool and heat fluid medium that is circulated through the shelves to maintain shelf temperatures within ±1° C.

The Edwards RV12 rotary vane pump delivers excellent ultimate vacuum pressure, high pumping speeds and superior vapour handling capabilities with quiet operation.
