Description
The Fisher Scientific accuSpin Micro 17R (refrigerated model, with the blue control panel, LED displays for time/speed/temp/RCF, start/stop/quick run keys, and calibration sticker) is a compact, high-speed refrigerated benchtop microcentrifuge from Thermo Fisher Scientific. It's designed for routine molecular biology and biochemistry applications requiring cooling to protect temperature-sensitive samples (e.g., enzymes, DNA/RNA preps, cell lysates). This air-cooled refrigerated unit (using R-134a refrigerant) features an easy-to-use digital interface with separate displays for speed/RCF, time, and temperature; quick-run button; pre-cooling/pre-temperature regulation; aerosol-tight rotor compatibility for biosafety; and a fixed-angle 24-place rotor. 120V/60Hz (Made in Germany, late 2022 manufacture date).
